Private Chess Lessons

Private Chess Lessons represent one of the few exceptions to our “everything free” rule, until we find a better way at least!

Private lessons consist of 1-3 students working on chess with a coach. This tends to be for more serious chess players preparing for formal competition, but its also possible to prepare more general classes for students that just want a fun activity involving chess. The class is generally done online instead of in person because its far easier that way for all parties. When you give a class on a physical board you waste a lot of time setting up certain positions or games, while online that can be done almost instantly with a few clicks. All that is neccesarry from the student is a device with a web browser to see and interact with chess positions, (most computers, laptops, tablets, and even smart phones) and a method of talking to the student. (A zoom call or regular phone call will do)
